The Friends of Epworth hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year to benefit Epworth Children’s Home. Below are a sample of events held in the past.
The Friends of Epworth Palate Party
Formerly the Friends Gala, this exciting event has a new name – The Palate Party – and is the signature event for the Friends of Epworth. Described by many as “The Best Party in Columbia” the Palate Party will be a night of fun, food, and dancing for a good cause. Hundreds of fun-loving donors from across the state come together each winter to provide children the opportunity to dream. Learn more
Food Truck Rodeo
Held in the Fall, the Food Truck Rodeo brings the best area food trucks to the Epworth campus for a weeknight, family-friendly event. The food trucks serve the community, but also provide meals for the children at Epworth–a special treat for the kids! Bring your blankets and chairs and relax on the Epworth lawn, play in the bounce house and enjoy live music while raising awareness and funds for Epworth. Learn More
Parties & Celebrations
The Friends of Epworth encourage others to hosts celebrations in their communities to benefit the Friends of Epworth. Coming together for a fun time with friends is a great way to raise awareness for the children at Epworth. Add a donation bucket and it can be a great way to provide for the children at Epworth, too!
Business Partnerships
The Friends of Epworth work with local businesses to hold fundraising and awareness events for the children at Epworth. From special discount nights at local restaurants to corporate golf tournaments and more, the Friends of Epworth values the opportunity to build relationships with local organizations.
